I feel sad about the history of Titanic,
even without the love story of Rose and Jack.

Apparently there was 16 lifeboats onboard then,
each can contain 65 passengers.

But none of them were filled,
first and second left with only 28 on board,
third had 43, fourth had 32,fifth had 39.
The sixth boat,with a capacity of 40 only carried 12 persons! WTF.
Five boats left with an unknown amount of passengers.
The next boat then carried 5 more then what was allowed,
the rich people start to worry now.
Then 64,45,20 and 64 in order for the next 4 boats.

They had 4 collapsibles,which serves the same purposes as the boats.
2 had been washed away with 2 officers when a huge surge of wave came over the almost sinking liner.
Anyways, after the 18 lifeboats had left, there were still about 1500 people on board of the sinking Titanic.
Among these 20 people were the Captain(nobody knew what happened to him),
as well as the band who were playing music to sooth and calm passengers.
They had been playing since they starting loading people,
even until the boat broke into 2.
Sad right?

The 1500 people were screaming and freezing to death in the icy waters,
among the 20 boats which didn't move far away from the sunken liner,
only 1 went back to save them, under command of fifth officer Lowe.

Another liner which had received Titanic's distress signals started loading passengers from the boats to their liner.
One of the officers which was washed away with the collapsible was found with a few other passengers, trying to balance the boat.

Out of the 2200 people on board including the crew,
only 700 were saved and alive.

Oh,and one more thing.
The liner which saved the survivals, Carpathia was 58 miles away from Titanic when she received the distress signals.
And it reached the scene just as Titanic had just sunken.
There was actually another liner, Californian,
which was only 20 miles away from Titanic which could have saved everybody in time,
had the captain not turned off their radio equipment just because the wireless operator had to sleep.
Just for sleep you killed so many people larh.

It would be so much meaningful to watch it now that i know the actual happenings(:
