Have I mentioned how I had spent most of the day of 2009 with?
It's with somebody significant to me,
who has been there for me when I need,
and who never failed to convince me that there is actually still somebody who loves me in my darkest times.

That somebody had cheered me up when I did badly in Netball,
and when I had improved, she made it a point to say it to me.
When I have problems with people, she'll stick by my stand even if I'm obviously wrong.
She was more than a friend, she was more than a best friend, she was more than anyone ever could have been for me.

My girlfriend, Toh Yee Ling.
Who taught me Maths and Science during my Os.
Who washed my dishes when I didn't want to.
Who paid for my stuff when my bank balance was near zero.
Who always wanted to buy things for me when we go out.
Who was always sincere in thinking of a surprise for a special occasion.
Who put me first in most things.
Who makes me happy all the time.
Who tries to help me when I'm down.
Who does not give up being there for me even though I had been a bitch most of the time.


In life, there are people who you would be willing to give everything for,
and people who would be willing to give their everything for you.
And I am lucky to have the latter to give me their everything to make me happy.
I should be contented with what I have.

How can I miss out the fact that I would be included in this sweet girl's new year resolution?
It was great, the feeling :)
I didn't expect it, and so it surprised me greatly.
Not to say, touched.

There was always a special part in her blog that was reserved for crediting me,
for saying how much she loves me,
for saying how much she thank that fact that I'm her girlfriend.

Just to let you know, Girlfriend.
I'm lucky to have you with me.
And I love you, always have and always will, Girlfriend.
