Earthquakes happen so frequently around the world now,
killing hundreds and thousands of people,
some deserved it,
but still, the innocent were never spared.

Even animals found themselves caught reaping the mistakes of humans,
either drowning in floods,
or being crushed by falling debris due to an inevitable earthquake.
And what have they done to deserve the painful deaths?

Humans young or old may be dead, wrapped in unwanted pieces of cloth and stacked on top of each other,
some might not even be recognizable.
Some might have a stump or an eye under all that debris,
never having their corpses completed.

Some might have been under heavy concrete and dust for over 50 hours and somehow survived with only a blind eye,
or even just really dirty and messy hair.

How does the world work?
To harm those who deserves it,
to award those who earned it,
and leave the innocents out?

From my eyes,
mother nature seems to have a whole new plan ahead of my mind,
a plan that I cannot understand.
A plan that involves dead people,
whether it agrees with the principles of karma and retribution.
